Over the past 11 years, BMW of Peabody has raised over $300,000 for the Susan G. Komen Foundation to support the fight against breast cancer. During its Ultimate Drive Campaign, BMW of Peabody raises $1 for every mile clients and employees drive a special model BMW.

The biggest philanthropic event of the year at BMW of Peabody is an annual silent auction, which raises thousands more for the Susan G. Komen Foundation.

Since 2003 Bud Lyon and Warren Waugh have donated over $100,000 towards the construction of the Peabody/Lynnfield YMCA. Likewise, $100,000 of computer equipment was donated to the town of Peabody school system.

Additional local charities supported by the Lyon-Waugh Auto Group and BMW of Peabody include: the Irish Children’s Hospital, Concord/Carlisle High School, the Jimmy Fund Leadership Council, the Peabody Chamber of Commerce, Deaconess Hospital, Pike School, the Save a Child Foundation and so many more deserving groups.

The Children’s Trust Fund sponsors programs that address family issues, child development, shaken baby prevention and child sexual abuse. The Trust Fund also empowers parents to become more involved in the lives of their children and the surrounding community.   This was the second year for the golf fundraiser.  Last year, the Lyon Waugh organization which owns several dealerships throughout Massachusetts donated a MINI Cooper as the hole in one prize.

Although there was no hole in one at the 11^th hole, there was an excellent turnout of 84 people who all had a wonderful time.  Undoubtedly, the opportunity to win a BMW was on the minds’ of many golfers!

BMW of Peabody is immersed in community outreach projects 365 days of the year.  Their partnership with the Susan G Komen foundation has helped to raise over $300,000 over the past 11 years with their Ultimate Drive Campaign.  For every mile driven, $1 is donated to the SGK foundation.  Additionally, Bud Lyon and Warren Waugh personally dated over $100,000 towards the construction of the YMCA in Peabody/Lynnfield.  The dealership is also responsible for a $100,000 gift in computers for the Peabody School system and countless other charitable gestures.   BMW of Peabody is also a major sponsor of Boston College Athletics.

Concord Museum in Massachusetts provides immeasurable educational opportunities for children of the Concord community.  Each year, BMW of Peabody helps attract participants to the annual golf tournament by donating a 328i Coupe to the event.  The coupe is placed on the 12^th hole, and if a hole in one is made, that golfer gets to take home the brand new car. 

Warren Waugh and Marshal Cabot have led BMW of Peabody through countless community outreach events.  The dealership is immersed in community projects 365 days of the year including partnerships with the Susan G Komen foundation which has helped to raise over $300,000 over the past 11 years.  Additionally, Bud Lyon and Warren Waugh donated funds towards the construction of the YMCA in Peabody/Lynnfield.  The dealership is also responsible for gifts in computers for the Peabody School system and countless other charitable gestures.
