The Massachusetts BMW dealerships, including BMW of Peabody, announced their corporate sponsorship with the 2010 Pan-Mass Challenge.  The Pan-Mass Challenge, founded in 1980 raises money for the Dana Farber Cancer Institute though an annual bike-a-thon that extends across Massachusetts.

The Pan Mass Challenge draws over 5,000 cyclists who can choose from 10 different course routes that originate or end in Sturbridge, Bourne, Wellesley and Provincetown.  Every cyclist and volunteer has one ultimate goal…to raise funds for cancer research and treatment.

“We are thrilled to be part of this year’s Pan Mass Challenge,” says Marshal Cabot, General Manager at BMW of Peabody.  “BMW has proven time and time again that they are committed to serving the community.  At BMW of Peabody, we are rooting for every rider in the challenge and we are honored to pledge our support to this great cause.”

The 31^st annual Pan Mass Challenge will take place on Saturday, August 7^th and Sunday, August 8^th.    In past years, BMW raised millions of dollars for the Susan G. Komen Foundation through the Ultimate Drive for the Cure.
